Atlas Shrugged part 2

Who is this man that visited Hammon the night before he disappeared? According to his sister, a stranger came to the house in the evening and he and Hammon stayed in his study talking late into the night. I think it is the John Galt himself come to take him and all the other highly successful and daring businessmen to Atlantis. Men like Ellis Wyatt, Nielson, and Hammon. I've still got a ways to go....

  1. Are you making posts about your progess on a book? Sounds more like facebook material than a blog meant to encourage discussions

  2. Eventually I'm going to write a post on my views of Objectivism. Honestly, only 2-3 people actually read this blog so I gave up on the lofty ideal I originally had of having a discussion blog. You can speculate along with me as to who John Galt is. I think I've figured it out but I'll wait and see.

  3. So, you want people to keep up with where you are in a book? Join a book club and get off the internet

  4. Gee that's kind of mean of you. Why don't you troll somewhere else? You're obviously not an avid fan of my blog because if you were you'd have the balls to have a screen name as opposed to being "anonymous". That is this mob mentality on the internet.

  5. Or I'm telling you to disconnect yourself. By posting where you are in a book, to a blog you say only has 2-3 readers, you limit yourself to little or no interaction. Join a book club and you'll meet new people with different ideas. It's called the human interface.

  6. Sounds like you'd be really good friends with Philip Rearden and Jim Taggert.
Besides, the two or three people who do read this blog are my friends in real life and this is a place where we gather our thoughts, write them down, and then the others comment.
Lately, I've given up on people in general unless they show effort as well. I've been snubbed and ignored so many times that I've given up trying to call people. I don't mean this as a sorry cry for attention, I've tried to get together with people and they cancel on me at the last minute. I've tried to make new friends but they don't reciprocate the effort I put in. So eventually, I just give up on that person(s). Trust me, I'm more disconnected than you imagine. I don't have a smart phone, I don't have a facebook, and I've been known to leave my phone at one end of the house on silent. The only person I can rely on to go out with and have a good time with are my mom and her friends. Not the people my own age who one would think would be more inclined to go out dancing. So I go out with my mom.
I suppose I should write a blog explaining why I changed the title and why I have this small obsession with the identity of John Galt.

  7. That is the only problem with the name "anonymous," it can be used to just cover your name. Although "Anonymous" can be used as a tool of change and cause a wave of reform. Sadly this is using this powerful tool to be a jerk and telling you what you already do.

I know you are normally a social person but have issues conveying your thoughts and emotions in person.

  8. Who are you and how do you seem to know so much about me? Please go to the formspring link near the top of the page and send me a message. To say that I am merely curious would be a slight understatement.

  9. I, too, am curious as to who you are, Wade Willson. You seem to know who exactly this blogger is, as if you've met them in person before.
